K-12 Overview of Bullying, Cyber Bullying and Social Aggression 0.1 IACET CEUs (MD001)

Reduce the incidence of bullying, cyber bullying, and social aggression in your school. Students are threatened, taunted, teased, and tormented by bullies daily. This happens in school districts in urban, rural, and suburban areas. Bullying and social aggression can have lifelong consequences for all students involved.

Bullying is a learned behavior that can be prevented. Gain an understanding of federal and state laws surrounding bullying and receive practical strategies for combating bullying and creating a culture that increases the positive forces in schools.

Learning Outcomes:

- Implement district anti-bullying policies with ease
- Define the roles of the bully, target, and bystander
- Identify the social costs of bullying and cyber bullying
- Use an effective 4-step strategy to confront bullying and social harassment

The learner must reach at least 80% proficiency on all assessments given at the conclusion of the webinar in order to receive the CEUs. Please call Mike Dreiblatt at 802-362-5448 or email info@standuptobullying.net with any questions you might have.
